The San Francisco 49ers are looking like Super Bowl favorites at 3-0, even amid owner Jed York's recent scandal. The 49ers offense got a prediction to shred the Broncos in Week 4, prior to Dan Orlovsky's comments on what makes it so unique.
Orlovsky broke down the 49ers' unique style, which was dubbed “progressive” in studio.
“78 percent of their passes are five men out,” Orlovsky said, noting that the 49ers use pre-snap motion to disguise their pass-heavy formations.
“The fact that they are running all of their offense, 80 percent of it, in a five-man dispersed pass concept, in a presentation that is not a five-man dispersed pass concept, is incredibly (progressive),” added.

Orlovksy cited formations involving star running back Christian McCaffrey, who was listed on the injury report, and fullback Kyle Juszczyk as some of the toughest for defenses to understand. McCaffrey is a versatile runner, pass catcher and home run threat while Juszczyk is as tough of a blocker up front as players come in the National Football League.
Week 4 at the Broncos will test the 49ers' depth as Mike Evans' injury status was revealed. Sean Payton's team is 2-1 and coming off of a big, unexpected win over the Rams that showed what Bo Nix and company can do when healthy.
The 49ers' big secret is starting to leak out into the football world, and the Broncos will have the next crack at stopping it. San Francisco's system is tough to stop, but ultimately, it's the players that make it so difficult to defend as much as anything else.
