The San Francisco 49ers are anxious to see how they stack up against the reigning Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks following last postseason's 41-6 loss, especially since first place in the NFC West is on the line this Sunday. They did not have Mike Evans in that NFC Divisional Round matchup, and unfortunately, there is now a chance the same will be true in this Week 5 clash. The lauded free-agent signing did not practice on Thursday after being a limited participant on Wednesday, per Seahawks reporter John Boyle.

Evans is currently dealing with a ribs injury, but there was little reason to worry about his status until this latest development. The 33-year-old wide receiver has already pushed through pain this season, and it is certainly possible he does so again for a highly anticipated divisional showdown in Lumen Field. He will probably need to get back on the field this Friday, though.
