With days nearing for the much-awaited Tyson Fury vs. Anthony Joshua fight, fans have also noticed a rising feud between UFC's Dana White and Matchroom Boxing's Eddie Hearn. Now, boxing promoter and Misfits Boxing's co-founder Kalle Sauerland has set out the rules for a rumored fight between Hearn and White, including a mouth-watering $20 million prize pot.
Despite the Fury vs. Joshua official announcement, the war between Hearn and White seems to continue. Hearn and White have disagreed over Fury vs Joshua, with the Matchroom Boxing head securing the all-British fight in the UK after White had targeted Madison Square Garden in New York City. The two have continued to bicker over White's involvement in the match, with Hearn's comments on White prohibiting from promoting the match, while White has made it clear that he and UFC are promoting the Joshua vs. Fury fight.
Recently, speaking to British journalist Piers Morgan, White challenged Hearn, who gladly accepted. He claimed that Turki Alalshikh and he had a conversation with Misfits Boxing regarding the potential fight.
Sauerland, Misfits Boxing's co-founder, has made an official offer for the match with a massive $20 million prize pot. “I'm gonna make an offer now,” he told iFL TV. “I said five million at the time. Ten million, official offer. The whole pot is twenty million dollars. I'm offering that right now. Eddie Hearn, Dana White, winner takes all.”
“Six rounds, six twos. Five months ago, six months ago. He was on the phone to me straight away. Let's get this done. So Eddie wants it,” Sauerland further said while revealing his rules for the fight. Neither Hearn nor White have officially commented on it.
