Andy Carroll put in charge of Dagenham & Redbridge as manager sacked weeks after KSI arrival
Non-league club Dagenham & Redbridge have sacked manager Lee Bradbury and placed Andy Carroll in charge as interim boss.
The decision comes just weeks after internet star KSI purchased a minority stake in the club and outlined his vision to take them from the sixth tier of English football to the Premier League.

Ex-England striker Carroll is also a shareholder and a registered player for the Daggers, who are 12th in the National League South.
Bradbury was appointed as manager in June 2025 after they were relegated from the National League.
His side beat Farnborough 3-2 away from home on Tuesday night with Carroll pictured in the stands.
A club statement read: “We are very grateful to Lee for his focus, professionalism, and commitment during his time at the Club and for his contributions, both on and off the pitch, to stabilise the club last summer.
“Dagenham & Redbridge wish him every success in his future endeavours.
“Andy Carroll will take the team on an interim basis, and further updates will be communicated in due course.”
KSI at Dagenham & Redbridge
The YouTuber announced on March 3 that he had joined the club as a ‘shareholder and strategic partner’.
He said: “I’m so excited to start this journey. It’s gonna be a rollercoaster for sure but I hope to bring Dagenham and Redbridge back to the glory days.
“For those of you that are OG fans (Race to Division One), you’ll know that this is a full circle moment for me.
“So join me on this exhilarating adventure and I’ll see you all at Victoria road this Saturday! I’ll be streaming too haha.”

KSI admitted a long-term target of his is to take Daggers to the Premier League although the main focus in the short term is to get them promoted out of the National League South.
Carroll’s involvement
Former Newcastle, Liverpool, and West Ham Carroll was also confirmed as a shareholder of the former EFL club.
Dagenham & Redbridge were relegated from League Two in 2016.
“This is just the start, I can’t wait for the journey,” Carroll, who also plays for Dagenham & Redbridge, said in a statement posted on his Instagram account.
“I am incredibly proud to finally have everything signed and confirmed.
“When I joined the Daggers, I said it was about more than just playing.
“I’m excited to continue the work to restore this club to the Football League where it belongs.”
Carroll appeared in court on March 11 to deny breaching a non-molestation order by repeatedly calling his ex-wife Billi Mucklow.
The 37-year-old will face a two-day trial in January 2027.
