Man of the moment Sanju Samson, after helping team India lift the T20 World Cup 2026 against New Zealand, has penned a heartfelt note for his better half Charulatha Remesh. India beat the Kiwis by 96 runs to clinch the trophy for the third time.

It was a tournament for the ages for the Kerala batter. After being left out of India’s playing XI in the first few matches, he made a sensational comeback that will be talked about for generations to come. He played three iconic innings in India’s three must-win matches, playing an instrumental role.

Now, after his heroics in the final against New Zealand, he has thanked his wife for being his support during his good and bad times, through ups and downs of his cricketing career.

“Right from the day i met you,,till this day of my life…!! Thank you so very much for being by my side, loving me for who I am and being absolutely true and honest to me no matter what i was to the outside world..Seeing my best side, seeing my worst side,,you have seen it all and still stood strong by me..!! Thank you for understanding how big cricket is in my life and making it the same for you..,” he wrote.

“And you have wished and dreamed with the same passion and  intensity as i did for this moment.. Thank you so very much my dear Pondattiiiiii,” he concluded.

"My trophy holding his trophy. Just too grateful," she wrote.
