Where to watch Borussia Dortmund vs Bayern Munich: Kick-off time, team news and talkSPORT coverage for Der Klassiker

Borussia Dortmund will look to keep the pressure on Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga title race when they meet this weekend.

The gap at the top between the two is eight points following Dortmund only getting a draw last time out.

Bayern Munich are closing in on a second straight Bundesliga title for Vincent Kompany and Harry Kane, and have scored 85 goals already this term.

Interestingly, Dortmund have conceded just one more than Bayern in the Bundesliga but the difference comes in the sheer firepower that Bayern possess.

Still, both sides are in great form, having lost just once this season, and this is a match that draws attention from all over Europe.

Dortmund vs Bayern team news

Dortmund are expected to be boosted by the returns of Nico Schlotterbeck and Emre Can.

For Bayern, Aleksandar Pavlovic and Michael Olise sat out training on Monday.

The official line is that this is simply load management, so both should be fine.

Meanwhile, Manuel Neuer is pushing to be involved at the weekend, along with Konrad Laimer.

But Alphonso Davies limped off at the weekend, and he needs some tests to determine what the issue is.

Dortmund vs Bayern: What has been said?

Luis Diaz has revealed that chats with Kompany convinced him to join Bayern.

He said: “He told me what he thought of me, what he wanted from me.

“That was a huge help. Even after the transfer was official and I arrived here, we sat down and talked about a lot of things – about football, but also about personal and family matters.

“I feel very comfortable with him as my coach. That’s why I think I’ll develop even more than I already have. You learn a lot about football from him.

“He likes intensity, he likes character – everyone defends, everyone attacks. All those things that are important for a team to work well. And as a person, he’s truly incredible.”
