Rajasthan Royals’ teenage sensation Vaibhav Sooryavanshi continues to grab headlines in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026, and this time, for his impressive performances with the bat but also for his off-field antics.

In a recent Rajasthan Royals dugout moment during their clash against Sunrisers Hyderabad, the 15-year-old was caught on camera making hilarious facial expressions while waiting for his opportunity as an Impact Player. The clip quickly went viral across social media, drawing plenty of laughs from fans.

Sooryavanshi, who has already stunned the cricketing world with his fearless batting, has often found himself at the center of discussions regarding his age. While his performances suggest maturity beyond his years, moments like these have amused fans, with many joking that such innocent antics are proof that he is indeed a teenager.

The viral video has since garnered massive engagement online, with fans flooding the comments section with humorous reactions. As Sooryavanshi continues to shine on the big stage, it is clear that both his cricketing talent and playful personality are winning hearts alike.

Meanwhile, Sooryavanshi endured a rare failure with the bat as he was dismissed for a golden duck against Sunrisers Hyderabad. The young left-hander, who had been in sensational form in previous outings, couldn’t make an impact this time, falling early to IPL debutant Praful Hinge.

Hinge’s fiery spell triggered a dramatic collapse, as he picked up three wickets in his very first over. The damage didn’t stop there, with another debutant, Sakib Hussain, striking in the following over to leave Rajasthan Royals reeling at 4/2 within the first 10 balls of their chase of 218. Hinge returned to claim another scalp in the powerplay, reducing RR to a shocking 9/5 and putting the game firmly out of their reach.

Despite some resistance later on, Rajasthan Royals were eventually bowled out for 159, suffering their first defeat of the season. Sunrisers Hyderabad, meanwhile, secured a convincing 57-run win to register their second victory in five matches. RR now stand at four wins and one loss in the tournament so far.
