Teenage sensation Vaibhav Sooryavanshi continues to grab attention both on and off the field with his heroics for Rajasthan Royals in the ongoing Indian Premier League 2026 season.

Ahead of RR’s upcoming fixture against table toppers Punjab Kings, Sooryavanshi was seen sharing a light-hearted moment with some young fans at the airport. In a video posted by the franchise on social media, a group of young fans approached him for selfies, only to be met with a cheeky response.

“Bhai, main photo lene ka paisa leta hoon. Sahi bol raha hoon bhai, (Brother, I charge money for taking photos. I'm serious),” Sooryavanshi said, leaving the kids surprised for that moment.

As the youngsters began to walk away, he called them back and added, “Main Rs 100 leta hoon, poore doge toh bolo,” (I generally take Rs 100, tell me if you can pay), he continued the prank.

One of the kids even offered INR 200, before the young batter revealed it was all just a prank, bringing smiles and relief to the group. The fun interaction quickly went viral, showcasing the teenager’s playful personality alongside his rising stardom in the tournament.

The 15-year-old batting prodigy has been in sensational form, building on his impressive debut campaign last year. His recent highlight came in a high-scoring clash against Sunrisers Hyderabad, where he smashed a stunning 57-ball century to power RR to a commanding total of 228/6.

However, despite his heroics, Rajasthan Royals fell short as SRH chased down the target with five wickets in hand and nine balls to spare. After the loss, the Riyan Parag side slipped to the fourth position in the points table, with five wins and three losses in their first eight games. They are scheduled to face the in-form Punjab Kings in Mullanpur on April 28.
