Tyson Fury’s comeback fight is set to be a family affair.

‘The Gypsy King’ returns to the ring on April 11 at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium against Russian slugger Arslanbek Makhmudov.

It marks his first fight since December 2024, when he suffered a second consecutive defeat to Oleksandr Usyk.

Fury hung up his gloves in the aftermath of the rematch, but has since reversed his decision to, as he puts it, ‘make boxing great again’.

The undercard for Fury’s Netflix showcase has yet to be officially confirmed.

talkSPORT.com understands that a British heavyweight title fight between Jeamie TKV and Richard Riakporhe will land on the bill.

And it also appears that Fury’s cousin, Ricky Gorman, has secured a slot on the Spring show.

Taking to Instagram on Monday, he wrote: “April 11 [I] am back [at] Tottenham Hotspur.

“All praise [goes] to Jesus Christ and to my cousin Tyson for putting me on this card.

“God bless you, brother, now let’s go.”

Fury shared the post on his Instagram story, all but confirming Gorman’s inclusion.

Who is Ricky Gorman?

Gorman boxed 29 times as an amateur and has fighting in his blood.

Not just from the Fury family (cousins Tyson, Hughie and Tommy) but also from the Gorman clan.

His great-uncle Bartley Gorman reigned supreme in the world of gypsy bare-knuckle boxing, earning the distinction of ‘the King of the Gypsies’ during an unbeaten career stretching from 1972 to 1992.

His brother, Nathan, is also a professional heavyweight boxer, best known for his unsuccessful British heavyweight title challenges against Daniel Dubois and Fabio Wardley.

Ricky, who also goes by Francis, hasn’t stepped foot between the ropes since his professional debut in October 2022.

On that night, he defeated Bulgarian journeyman Milen Paunov via unanimous decision at the Bolton Whites Hotel.

Since then, he has mostly been seen training alongside Fury in Morecambe, but on April 11, he has the opportunity to step out from his cousin’s shadow.
