Tyreek Hill tipped to snub Patrick Mahomes and sign for bitter Chiefs rival and QB
For the first time in his NFL career, Tyreek Hill is set to be a free agent.
Faced with the prospect of a rebuild, the Miami Dolphins released Hill last week, citing a ‘failed physical’ as a reason for the decision.

‘Cheetah’ signed a four-year, $120 million extension with Miami in 2022, and then agreed to restructure it to guarantee him $106.5 million in 2024.
Hill went down with a serious knee injury in Week 4 of the 2025 season, and now his time in Florida is over after four seasons.
The wide receiver has been touted to ‘run it back’ with Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs, but there could be another AFC East team in more need of a superstar wideout.
Hill tipped to snub reunion with Mahomes and join AFC rival
Kansas City will be in need of an offensive spark if it wants to continue to hang out with the ‘big boys’.
The team finished its underwhelming 2025 season with a 6-11 record, missing the playoffs for the first time since 2014.
Things got even worse in Week 15, when Mahomes suffered a season-ending injury.
This past season, Andy Reid‘s attack ranked 20th in both total yards and yards per game.
As for Hill, who is recovering from the same injury as Mahomes, another franchise in desperate need of a player like his services could be a more attractive proposition.
Sports Illustrated published its 2026 NFL offseason bold predictions, tipping Hill to land with Mahomes’ fierce rival.
“The Bills will edge the Chiefs and [New England] Patriots for Tyreek Hill’s services and be in the conversation for Mike Evans.” the outlet wrote.

“Brandon Beane and new head coach Joe Brady have been on a PR blitz this offseason to counteract the firing of Sean McDermott.
“Pacifying the fan base by showing interest in a slew of brand-name wide receivers is one of the fastest ways to alter public perception.”
Hill could be exactly what Buffalo need to overcome playoff shortcomings
Whether the prediction comes true or not, 2026 is expected to be a season of change for the Bills.
Despite construction challenges, they will be playing their home games in their new $2.2 billion stadium, just a stone’s throw away from their previous home.
On the field, it will be the first season under new head coach Joe Brady following the departure of Sean McDermott.
The Bills suffered more playoff heartbreak when they fell 33-30 in overtime to the Denver Broncos in the Divisional Round of the 2025 NFL playoffs.

It was a game that left Allen in tears and blaming himself after the game, but in reality, it wasn’t all on his shoulders.
Without a standout No. 1 receiver, Allen used his legs more than he had in his previous seasons.
Khalil Shakir was the leading receiver with 719 yards and four touchdowns from 72 receptions.
This also led to running back James Cook exploding for a career-high 1,621 rushing yards and 14 total touchdowns.
They have been tipped to dive into the Jacksonville Jaguars’ loaded receiver room.
Buffalo has also been linked with making a splash for Buccaneers receiver Mike Evans, who is desperate to win another Super Bowl.
As the Bills get ready for a season of change, what better way to help former MVP Allen than by bringing in one of the most explosive wide receivers in league history.
