MUMBAI: On Thursday, March 05, India and England will take centre stage for the second semi-final of the ongoing T20 World Cup 2026 in a mouthwatering clash at the iconic setting of the Wankhede Stadium. Ahead of the match, the traffic authorities in the city have advised the spectators attending the match to plan their commute well in advance to ensure a smooth entry and exit from the venue.

Wankhede Stadium will be opening gates for public entry at 4.00 PM (Indian Standard Time) for the game which is scheduled to start three hours later. Mumbai Traffic Police, meanwhile, has issued an official advisory which can help the public and fans avoid traffic congestion around the Marine Drive and Churchgate area, surrounding the venue. The general public has been encouraged to use alternate routes.
