Barcelona and Atletico Madrid renew hostilities in the Nou Camp just days after a fiery La Liga tussle in the Spanish capital saw Hansi Flick’s side coming from behind to defeat 10-man Atleti 2-1.

Flick’s side are in free-scoring form, hitting the net 19 times in their previous four home Champions League games, but they are without a clean sheet in 13 games in this competition.

Diego Simeone would likely take a slender defeat here, keeping the tie in the balance for the second leg. His side thumped Barca 4-0 at the Metropolitano in the Copa del Rey in February. Atleti are winless in their last 25 trips to face Barcelona, but they should at least get on the scoresheet.

Lamine Yamal has scored in Barcelona’s last three Champions League matches and looks set to continue his run here.

Acca – Paris Saint-Germain, Barcelona & Braga all to win @ 5/1

There could be a trio of home wins on Wednesday evening in the European contests. PSG are facing Premier League opposition for the fourth time this season in Paris. They put five past both Tottenham and Chelsea, while Newcastle hung on grimly for a 1-1 draw.

With Liverpool’s problems well documented and Slot seemingly fighting a losing battle in the dugout, the Parisians are strongly fancied for victory.

Barca’s home record against Atletico Madrid is superb and they are in free-scoring form with 19 goals in their previous four home Champions League games. They should land another win over Simeone’s side.

In the Europa League, Braga can make home advantage count against Real Betis. The Portuguese side are seasoned in this competition and are taking part in the quarter-finals for the fourth time.

They were 4-0 winners over Ferencvaros here in the last round and have kept a Europa League-high seven clean sheets this season. Manuel Pellegrini’s Betis have lost their way, with just one win in eight games, and they should trail after the first leg here.
