Tuesday night’s football is headlined by two huge Champions League ties, as Liverpool and Barcelona aim to overturn their 2-0 defeats from last week.

However, PSG look primed for more success this week, having been given the weekend off in Ligue 1 to prepare for their trip to Anfield.

Wigan to beat Rotherham @ 5/6 

Rotherham are 13 points shy of safety with only 15 left to play for, but their recent form doesn’t suggest they can stave off the drop any longer.

The Millers have lost four of their last five starts, including a loss at bottom side Port Vale last week. Rotherham have suffered 15 defeats across their 20 away trips this season, suffering six consecutive losses on their travels. 

Wigan have won three of their last four games at home, while they have picked up seven wins from nine home meetings with bottom-half sides. Only four teams have bettered Wigan’s return of 14 points from their last eight games, and their good form can continue on Tuesday.

PSG to win and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia to Score Anytime vs Liverpool @ 17/5

PSG take a 2-0 lead to Anfield on Tuesday, but they were unfortunate not to score more in last week’s first leg. The European champions showed how dangerous they can be with a lead in their win over Chelsea in the last round, and this vulnerable Liverpool side could fall to another defeat.

The reigning champions won 1-0 at Anfield in last season’s knockouts, with Ousmane Dembele netting the winner. This year, it’s former Napoli winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia who is driving the French side forward, having scored in each of his last four games in the Champions League.

That includes home and away strikes against Chelsea, and the winger can lead a well-rested PSG side to a second-leg victory on Merseyside.

Atletico Madrid vs Barcelona – BTTS, PSG, Southampton and Wigan to win at 33/4

Barcelona should be encouraged by the weekend action in La Liga, after they thumped rivals Espanyol 4-1. Atletico Madrid slipped to a 2-1 defeat at Sevilla, which was their fourth defeat in five across all competitions. Barcelona won 2-1 at Atletico earlier this month, and their defensive issues mixed in with their desperation to get back in the game should see both teams score.

Southampton continued their brilliant Championship form with a victory over Derby at the weekend, which was their fifth league win on the spin. The Saints are only six points shy of the automatic promotion places, and should prove too strong for a Blackburn side that has lost nine away games this season.Pair those two with Wigan to beat Rotherham and PSG to beat Liverpool for a fourfold which comes in at 33/4.
