Bet of the day

Lyon to win to nil vs Nice @ 2/1

Champions League-chasing Lyon will entertain Nice in what should be a routine home success for Les Gones.

Paulo Fonseca’s side have been in impressive form at home, collecting 24 points from 10 Ligue matches (W8 L2).

Lyon now welcome a Nice side who have lost seven of their 10 away matches and have picked up just seven points on their travels.

Les Gones have won their last three fixtures to nil, beating Lille, Laval and Nantes, and another success with a clean sheet looks likely against an opponent who lost their last away game 1-0 in Ludogorets.

Birmingham vs Leeds
– Birmingham double chance
– Over 2.5 goals
– Noah Okafor to score any time

11/1

Championship outfit Birmingham City will look to pull off an FA Cup shock when they face Premier League side Leeds United at St Andrew’s.

Blues are unbeaten in their last 11 home matches and that could spell bad news for the Whites, who have won just twice on their travels this season.

Birmingham have not lost on home soil since October and they have scored 30 goals in 16 league games at St Andrew’s.

Leeds won’t go down without a fight, though, and they have been involved in some entertaining matches, with three of their last four away assignments producing over 2.5 goals.

Round off this bey builder by backing Leeds forward Noah Okafor to get on the scoresheet.

The 25-year-old has scored in his last two outings, against Nottingham Forest and Chelsea, and he looks capable of adding to his tally on Sunday.

Grimsby vs Wolves BTTS, Sunderland to win to nil vs Oxford & Fulham to win to nil vs Stoke @ 13/1

League Two Grimsby can pull off an FA cup shock when they host Premier League basement boys Wolves.

The Mariners are on a 10-game unbeaten run and will fancy their chances of overcoming Wolves, who are cut adrift at the bottom of the top flight and without a win in five outings.

Rob Edwards’ side have managed to score in four of their last six away games, though, so they can contribute to an entertaining affair a Blundell Park.

Sunderland travel to the Kassam Stadium to take on Oxford in the fourth round of the cup and the Black Cats should have no issues beating the Championship side.

Oxford have won just one of their last 10 matches and they have failed to find the back of the net in five of their last seven fixtures.

Avoiding relegation to League One is the main aim for the U’s, and they look set to struggle against a resolute Sunderland.

Fulham should also be able to record an away win to nil when they take on Stoke in the fourth round.

The Potters have failed to net in four of their last six games and hopes of finishing in the Championship play-off places are fading fast.

While Fulham have lost four of their last five, they have faced some tough opponents during that period and they should thrive coming up against a lesser side in Stoke.
