King Rasko Grey

A great price for this Mrs Audrey Turley-owned horse, in the same colours and silks as Galopin Des Champs.

The six-year-old was picked as one to watch out for this year back in October and justified that when he impressed on debut at Limerick to land the maiden hurdle in a field of 18.

This is the big step up already with hopes for a Cheltenham Festival bid.

Marine Nationale

This is a horse who was 3-3 over hurdles and then when it didn’t seem to be going too well over fences, something clicked in March last year where he went to Cheltenham and beat Jonbon by a staggering 18 lengths.

That form was then added to with another win at Punchestown festival a month later and then on seasonal debut only missed out by half a length to what is essentially a nemesis now over fences, losing for a third time to Solness.

But he’s been consistently up there challenging and if recapturing that previous form from last year, can rally again against Solness and Majborough.

Lossiemouth

This is a very tough mare to beat, she’s very determined by nature and is one of those racehorses who truly does love to win.

The grey has 13 wins from 16 runs now over hurdles and four of those wins have come in a row in her latest contests, all in Grade 1 company.

She beat Brighterdaysahead over course and distance in December and can surely do it again under Paul Townend, who has an array of top rides this weekend.
