Salesian Sister shows off unexpected slick handles before Game 6

The San Antonio Spurs are pulling out all the stops before the do-or-die Game 6 of the Western Conference Finals on Thursday. They trail the Oklahoma City Thunder 3-2 and need a win to stay alive and force a Game 7.

As a result, some of the Spurs’ biggest fans showed up to Frost Bank Center in San Antonio with hope in their hearts and god on their side. The superfans, known as the Salesian Sisters, arrived in style before the game, per ClutchPoints.

Not only that, but a pair of sisters showcased their ball-handling skills, per Spurs Reporter. In the process, they spoke a victory into existence.

“We’re gonna win tonight!” one sister said.

Lately, nuns have been making themselves known during the postseason. A group of “nuns” also Spurs superfans first came to light to cheer on devout Catholic Luke Kornet during Game 4 against the Thunder.  It turns out they were members of the San Antonio chapter of the Salesian Sisters of St. John Bosco.

The Spurs ended up winning 103-82.

Those same “nuns” made an appearance during Game 5, in which appearance and ended up losing 127-114, trailing in the series. If they win, Game 7 will be scheduled for Saturday at the Frost Bank Center.

Meanwhile, the New York Knicks are waiting in the wings.  If the Spurs win the series, they will face a rematch of the 1999 Finals, which the Spurs won in five games.

If they have the good fortune to contend for the title, the sisters and god will be there.
