Ravens’ Marlon Humphrey sounds off on Mike Vrabel, Dianna Russini scandal
Baltimore Ravens’ Marlon Humphrey is the latest to share his thoughts on Mike Vrabel and Dianna Russini’s scandal.
Humphrey shared his opinion on X and didn’t understand the fascination of the scandal as it’s become a hot topic online.
“I really don’t understand why this app is so interested with Vrabel cheating,” Humphrey shared via X on Sunday, May 11. “It’s a lot going on for sure but who cares lol.”
Others agreed with Humphrey’s position on the issue, while some explained why the scandal has been something that has been talked about for weeks.
“Is because you are a reasonable person. We don’t know what’s going on in their personal lives and it’s none of our business,” one fan reacted.
Another fan raised the question: “Why would an NFL Head Coach sleeping with an NFL Insider that has an MVP/COY vote and can manipulate trade markets with her reporting matter to anyone?”
He did respond to one of his followers, calling the situation “baffling” to which the Ravens cornerback agreed.
“Nah for sure . But at this point could it even get worse,” he responded with a laughing emoji.
Photos of Russini and Vrabel went viral when they spent time together at an Arizona luxury resort. Following those photos going viral, more images of the two over the past few years surfaced , including a photo of them seemingly kissing at a New York bar in 2020 and a photo of them at a casino following his firing from the Tennessee Titans in 2024.
Another development in the alleged affair was when Vrabel and Russini were reportedly together on a rented boat back in June 2021, a time in which Russini was expecting her first son, Michael Andrew, who was born in August 2021. Russini also has another son, Joey, who was born in October 2022. She shares both of her children with her husband, Kevin Goldschmidt, whom she married in 2020. Vrabel was also married at the time to his wife Jen, whom he tied the knot with in 1999. They also share two children.
Russini has since resigned from her job from The Athletic where she was a reporter and NFL insider. Vrabel is still employed with the New England Patriots and he addressed the scandal prior to the start of the NFL Draft last month.
“I’ve had some difficult conversations with people I care about about — with my family, the organization, the coaches, the players. Those have been positive and productive. In order to be successful on and off the field, you have to make good decisions. That includes me. That starts with me,” said Vrabel, in a press conference.
