Premier League star’s World Cup dreams in balance as he’s taken off on stretcher with blood on sock
Leeds midfielder Anton Stach was stretchered off with a worrying injury during the Whites’ clash with Brighton.
The Germany international looked distraught as he was carried off in the 74th minute with a nasty looking ankle injury with blood seen on the sock of the affected ankle.

The 27-year-old will now face an anxious wait to learn the severity of the injury.
Stach is a candidate to make the Germany World Cup squad, which is set to be named on Thursday.
He was recently called-up by manager Julian Nagelsmann for the March international break.
It was his first time back in the national team for four years.
Germany begin their World Cup campaign against Curacao on June 14.
They then face Ivory Coast on June 20 before their final group game against Ecuador five days later.
The game looks set to end well for Leeds with Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s stoppage-time strike putting them 1-0 up over the Seagulls.
