Megan Thee Stallion exits Broadway production early amid Klay Thompson split

The curtain is coming to a close early on Megan Thee Stallion’s debut on Broadway.

The rapper announced on Monday, April 27, that her last show will be on May 1.

“It’s been such an honor to be part of thee Moulin Rouge family and I’ve met so many amazing people in this theater!” Megan shared on Instagram alongside a photo with fans after several shows. “Y’all work so hard and I have so much respect for the dedication, the stamina, the work ethic, the time and the effort y’all put into the work! I’m so grateful for the cast and crew that made this experience so meaningful. And to all the Hotties that showed up or planned to attend, thank you for supporting me during this incredible journey! I LOVE YALL See you soon.”

The news follows a personal update for the rapper as she ended her relationship with Klay Thompson following cheating allegations.

“Cheating, had me around your whole family playing house… got ‘cold feet.’ Holding you down through all your HORRIBLE mood swings and treatment towards me during your basketball season now you don’t know if you can be ‘monogamous?’,” she wrote on her Instagram Story over the weekend, seemingly aimed at the NBA star.

She later made it clear that the two are no longer together via a statement to People.

“I’ve made the decision to end my relationship with Klay,” Megan said in a statement. “Trust, fidelity and respect are non-negotiable for me in a relationship, and when those values are compromised, there’s no real path forward. I’m taking this time to prioritize myself and move ahead with peace and clarity.”

Megan and Thompson had been dating for about nine months prior to the split. Thompson has yet to comment on Megan’s allegation at this time.
