Al Hilal open talks with Premier League and World Cup star after Crysencio Summerville signing

Al Hilal have opened talks with Everton forward Iliman Ndiaye, talkSPORT understands.

It follows their £68million deal to sign Crysencio Summerville from West Ham.

The Netherlands international joined the Saudi Pro League side earlier this month following the Hammers’ relegation.

Al Hilal are now looking to sign another star from last season’s Premier League to bolster their attack.

Ndiaye scored six goals and provided three assists in 32 league appearances for the Toffees last term.

The 26-year-old was also part of Senegal’s World Cup squad, scoring once and adding two assists as they reached the last 32.

Despite Al Hilal’s talks with Ndiaye, Everton are yet to receive any formal communications from the club.

Meanwhile, the Toffees themselves have also been trying to extend his current deal.

Ndiaye, who signed from Marseille two years ago, is under contract until the summer of 2029.

Full-back Vitaliy Mykolenko has already penned a three-year extension this summer.

Toffees transfer business

David Moyes’ side have also been busy in the transfer market themselves.

Former loanees Tyrique George and Merlin Rohl have both made their moves permanent ahead of next season.

Everton have also completed the signing of Championship Player of the Year Hayden Hackney.

The midfielder arrived from Middlesbrough in a deal worth £25million.

In terms of departures, Idrissa Gueye, Tyler Onyango and Seamus Coleman have all left the club on free transfers.

It comes after Moyes guided the Toffees to a 13th place finish last term.

Everton had been in the hunt for European qualification for the first time in eight years.

However, a run of one win in their final nine matches saw them finish four points adrift of a Conference League berth.

Moyes will be hoping to avoid a similar outcome during the upcoming campaign.

Everton begin the season at home to Crystal Palace on Saturday, August 22.
