LIV Golf New York: Three selections and picks for Trump National week
LIV Golf New York takes place this week as the penultimate individual event of the 2026 season.
Jon Rahm leads the standings by a staggering 219 points and it looks as though he is going to win his third consecutive individual crown.
Trump National in Bedminster plays host to the tournament for the first time since 2023. Back then, Cameron Smith won the event by seven shots, although that remains his last LIV Golf victory.
Rahm leads the betting market ahead of the tournament at odds of 9/2, while Bryson DeChambeau and Tyrrell Hatton have been priced at 6/1 and 7/1 to win in the outskirts of the Big Apple.
While this trio are the favourites to emerge victorious, there is some value to be had for those further down the market.

LIV Golf New York Tips
- Lucas Herbert to win @ 12/1
- Marc Leishman to win and each-way @ 22/1
- Scott Vincent to win and each-way @ 55/1
Lucas Herbert has enjoyed a wonderful few months. The Australian claimed his maiden LIV Golf victory in Virginia back in May, before he secured a superb T6 finish at the Open Championship, shooting a 62 on Friday in Southport.
That round equaled the major championship record and, while he failed to build on that, this was his finest finish at any of the majors.
Herbert didn’t rest on his laurels, though, going on to continue his fine form in England by winning the LIV Golf UK event just a few days later.
He shot a stunning round of 61 at the JCB Golf and Country Club on Thursday before finishing with a 62, sealing a six-shot win in the end.
Ranking second for birdies per round and seventh for putting average, the 30-year-old is in the form of his life.
As such, backing him at 12/1 could be a wise bet heading into this tournament.
Leishman has been a model of consistency this season
Since joining the LIV Golf League in 2022, Marc Leishman has managed just one victory. That came in Miami last year, but the 42-year-old has been remarkably consistent throughout the current season.
Indeed, he has finished outside the top-25 on just one occasion in 2026, securing seven top-15 finishes across his ten events.
Leishman can take confidence from the fact he finished T7 at Trump National in 2023, shooting rounds of 71, 69 and 71 across the three days.
A strong showing once again could vault him into the top-20 of the LIV standings and there is no doubt he is due a win.
Vincent can contend in New York
Scott Vincent bounced back from suffering relegation at the end of the 2024 season to making a return to LIV two years later, and he has taken this second chance with open arms.
The Zimbabwean golfer is currently ranked 17th in the standings after a solid season to date.
After failing to crack the top-ten across any of the first five tournaments, Vincent has since finished fourth, t8, fifth, 15th and T28 in the last five events.
He typically gets off to a strong start, finishing the opening round in a tie for the lead at both the Korea and Andalucia tournaments, while ending Thursday in a tie for third in Mexico City.
Vincent ranks 12th for greens in regulation, eighth for scrambling and 21st for birdies per round, suggesting that his short game is in excellent working order ahead of the New York event.
