Knicks news: Watch Jalen Brunson’s priceless reaction to winning NBA Finals
The New York Knicks officially won the 2026 NBA Championship on Saturday night, defeating the San Antonio Spurs, 94-90. It was a throwback game with neither team finding much offensive rhythm and sub-40 percent shooting games by both teams.
Jalen Brunson helped the Knicks complete yet another comeback to win the NBA title, scoring 45 points on 14-of-27 shooting from the field and 13-of-15 from the free throw line.
After the final buzzer, Brunson was overcome with emotions.
“I got no words,” Brunson was seen telling ESPN’s Lisa Salters. “It’s everything I’ve dreamt of.
“I don’t know what I’m feeling. I’m just like… I’m in awe. I don’t know. Whenever someone counts us out, we find a way to come back and do something about it.”
Brunson scored 15 of his 45 points in the final quarter, helping the Knicks finally overcome the 16-point first half deficit and take their first lead in the first quarter. After taking the lead, the Knicks never looked back.
“My confidence comes from my work ethic,” Brunson said. “Every time I got the ball, all I could think about is all the hours in the summer. For every summer I had, since I ever could remember, making this a reality. Whenever I had the ball, I’m just thinking about just me alone in the gym.
“We’re going to find a way. Whatever you put in front of us, we’re going to find a way. It doesn’t matter. It does not matter whatsoever. We’re going to find a way every single time we step on this court. Every f–king time. Every time.”

The Knicks will now travel back home to New York to celebrate their NBA Championship, with a parade scheduled in Manhattan on Thursday, according to the team’s owner, James Dolan.
