Jamal Musiala warned he’s not in Bayern Munich’s best XI due to unsung hero beside Harry Kane
Jamal Musiala has been warned that he doesn’t make Bayern Munich’s best XI once he returns to full fitness.
That’s according to European football expert Andy Brassell, who was speaking with Danny Kelly on Trans Europe Express on Sunday night.

Bayern returned to winning ways in fine fashion against Hoffenheim over the weekend.
Vincent Kompany’s side have endured a minor blip of late, collecting just one point in meetings with Augsburg and Hamburg, falling to a shock 2-1 home loss to the former prior to Sunday’s welcome of Hoffenheim.
Harry Kane bagged his 23rd league goal of the season midway through the first half after Kevin Akpoguma, who was sent off for his troubles, had appeared to foul Luis Diaz.

Hoffenheim were level through Andrej Kramaric with 10 minutes of the first half to go, only for Kane to score his and Bayern’s second on the stroke of half time.
Diaz got in on the act in first half stoppage time, and it was easy pickings for Bayern after the break as they maximised their numerical advantage.
Indeed, Diaz scored his second and third as Bayern ultimately made light work of Hoffenheim to ease to a 5-1 win.
No more Musi-All-Star
Musiala came off the bench to make his fifth appearance since suffering a broken leg at the Club World Cup in the summer to provide the assist for Diaz’s third and Bayern’s fifth.
Brassell, though, believes the German youngster is no longer part of Bayern’s strongest XI as he lavished praise upon one of their unsung heroes.

Speaking exclusively to talkSPORT, the European football expert said: “Because Kane is so brilliant, and I won’t stop talking about Michael Olise, I think Luis Diaz doesn’t get enough bandwidth on this show.
“13 league goals for the season now and he has added a whole other dimension to Bayern.
“We know Jamal Musiala is coming back from injury and he’s made one start since he’s come back and a few interesting little cameos, because of the way Bayern have progressed, I think there’s a question whether Jamal Musiala is in the best XI that Bayern have at the moment.
“It’s a really good question. In the week, we had Serge Gnabry signing again for another couple of years. He was going to be out of contract at the end of the season, but he’s on until 2028 now.
“The depth that they have, despite Kane at the start of the season telling us ‘well we’ve actually got a really small squad compared to any of the Tottenham squads I’ve played in’.”
Munich men march on
Victory over third-placed Hoffenheim on Sunday leaves Bayern six points clear of rivals Borussia Dortmund in second.

Dortmund can close the gap to three points when they take on Mainz 05 on Friday night.
Vincent Kompany’s Bayern men, meanwhile, travel to Werder Bremen on Saturday afternoon as they look to go one step closer to defending their Bundesliga crown.
