Jake Paul breaks silence after Anthony Joshua is injured in fatal car crash
Celebrating his recent victory over Jake Paul with a vacation in Nigeria, Anthony Joshua was involved in a severe car crash. Two of Joshua’s friends and team members lost their lives, while the 36-year-old escaped with several injuries.
Shortly after the news became public, influencer-turned-boxer Jake Paul shared his thoughts on the tragic incident, as well as shared his love for Joshua and the lost ones.
“Life is much more important than boxing. I am praying for the lost lives, AJ [Anthony Joshua], and anyone impacted by today’s unfortunate accident,” he wrote.
Shortly after, Paul shared another message for Sina Ghami and Latif “Latz” Ayodele, the two who passed away. “RIP Sina Ghami and Kevin ‘Latif / Latz’ Ayodele. My thoughts and prayers are with their families and friends and AJ [Anthony Joshua].”
While Joshua currently recovers at a local medical facility, the cause of the accident was reported to be “excessive speeding,” “wrongful overtaking,” and ‘”a tire burst.” The accident took place along the Lagos–Ibadan Expressway, where Joshua’s Lexus SUV crashed into a stationary truck.

Shortly after picking up his victory over Jake Paul at the Kaseya Center in Miami, Florida, the “Watford Warrior” shared his honest thoughts on Paul’s punches.
“It was alright.”
In the same interview, he also analyzed his own performance and claimed that it “could have been better.” Following the conclusion of the match, Paul suffered a broken jaw, which he is currently recovering from.
Throughout the bout, Joshua landed 48 punches but only received 16 in return. He officially landed three knockdowns in the sixth round and secured his victory.
