Jalen Green’s injury status vs the Clippers on Sunday

Given his questionable designation on the injury report, there is currently some doubt as to whether or not Jalen Green will be able to suit up for the Suns against the Clippers on Sunday night. Green has appeared in just four games for Phoenix this year after a trade sent him there from the Houston Rockets, although he did play in the Suns’ last game against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Friday, which turned out to be a blowout home win.
Meanwhile, Devin Booker will remain out of the lineup for this game due to an ankle sprain.
For the Clippers, no one appears on the injury report outside of the players who have already been ruled out for the long term, including both Bradley Beal and Derrick Jones Jr.
The Suns have been one of the biggest success stories in the NBA so far this year, with Dillon Brooks turning up his offensive output several levels, including a 40-point game earlier this week. Meanwhile, the fact that Green hasn’t even hit his stride yet this season for Phoenix is certainly cause for optimism for the franchise moving forward, and it will be fascinating to see how head coach Jordan Ott and company choose to integrate the talented wing into a system that is already clearly working.
In any case, tipoff between the Suns and Clippers is set for Sunday evening at 8:00 pm ET from Phoenix.
