Idrissa Gueye has to be restrained by Everton teammates after being sent off for fighting Michael Keane
Idrissa Gueye has been shown a straight red card in a moment of madness against Manchester United.
The Everton midfielder was dismissed after clashing with teammate Michael Keane.

Gueye was sent off by referee Tony Harrington having slapped the Toffees defender.
Gueye could be seen arguing with Keane after Bruno Fernandes had fired a shot wide of Jordan Pickford’s goal.
The pair then came face-to-face, with the Senegalese international raising his hand towards Keane before being pushed away.
Pickford quickly stepped in to separate the pair, but the referee had already seen enough to show a red card.
Iliman Ndiaye also helped with the restraining of the furious Gueye.
Replays showed Gueye did connect with a light slap during the confrontation.
The Premier League as they said in their explanation: “The referee’s call of red card to Gueye for violent conduct was checked and confirmed by VAR – with the action deemed to be a clear strike to the face of Keane.”
It came less than 15 minutes into the match at Old Trafford in a crucial setback for David Moyes’ side.
Seamus Coleman had been forced off with an injury just moments earlier.
However, Everton were boosted just shy of the half-hour mark when Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall put them in front with a delightful right-footed curling effort.

It is a goal which will see Everton climb above bitter rivals Liverpool and into 11th if they can hold on for all three points.
Meanwhile, they would only be behind United on goal difference if the match ends 1-0.
Gueye’s antics saw him become the first Premier League player to be sent off for fighting with a team-mate for almost 17 years.
A red card was last shown for the same offence on December 28, 2008 when Ricardo Fuller was sent off for Stoke against West Ham.
The former Potters forward had clashed with team-mate Andy Griffin during his side’s 2-1 defeat at Upton Park.
Meanwhile, Gueye and Keane’s altercation also came with memories of Kieron Dyer and Lee Bowyer’s infamous on-field fight.

The Newcastle pair had to be pulled apart after brawling during their side’s Premier League match against Aston Villa in April 2005.
Dyer was banned for three matches by the FA, whilst Bowyer ended up with a seven-match ban along with being fined six weeks’ wages by his club.
