Friday horse racing tips

Sandown

• 13:50: Havana Hurricane 7/2 (1pt)
• 15:35: Sallaal 1/1 (1pt)

Doncaster

• 15:10: Moulin Booj 7/2 (1pt)

Havana Hurricane

Havana Hurricane could bounce back dropped in trip to 5f of which he has much better form than over 6f.

Comical Point has been going well over 6f but I’m not convinced the move down to 5f is going to suit as well, which gives even more reason to think Havana Hurricane can come home here.

Sallaal

Won incredibly well at Epsom last time out over the same distance to win by over six lengths ahead of Respond when 5/2 favourite.

He’s now been upped to a high 119 rating having won four from eight runs.

This Roger Varian-trained Frankel gelding looks to be on the up and this will be the biggest test up against the likes of Dividend and Royal Rhyme.

Moulin Booj

This six-year-old gelding is in fine form, but it’s not been enough to raise him in the weights which makes him potential value.

He’s been third and second in his last two races each off of the same weight and there’s surely only a matter of time before he gets it right having won off of 1lb lower back in March on the all-weather.
