Old Park Star

7lb penalty but that shouldn’t affect this Nicky Henderson-trained five-year-old who looked incredibly comfy on hurdle debut.

Form works out well to take on these rivals and may even be backed in from 3/1 to the off later this afternoon.

This is just his second run for the stable but he faces Kingston Queen a mare who carries 7lb less but the ratings work out to be in favour of Old Park Star.

Torn And Frayed

Solid each-way price for this horse that has recently placed in the top three in his last three runs in 2025.

Won well at Aintree in October but also notably beat Eldorado Alen at Warwick back in November 2024.

Upped just 7lb in total since then after a few contests and now 11-years-old is in great form especially against much of this field of veterans.

Long Draw

Course and distance winner trained by Olly Murphy, who hasn’t won over hurdles since April, but three fairly solid runs since.

Including against Kikijo, in which that form has worked out well, especially if he can improve for this run.

Two subsequent rises in the weights has halted his very best form but now returns to Cheltenham, a seemingly favoured course for the trainer to send him out at.
