Fat Joe’s hilarious reaction to Jalen Brunson stiffing him at Knicks media session

The New York Knicks are currently gearing up for Game 3 of the NBA Finals, which is set to get underway on Monday evening in Manhattan. The Knicks are up 2-0 after stealing both of the first two games of the series on the road against the San Antonio Spurs.

On Sunday, the Knicks held media sessions in preparation for Game 3, and among those in attendance was superfan and recording artist Fat Joe, who has been in attendance at both road games of the NBA Finals so far.

At the media session, Joe tried to get Knicks star point guard Jalen Brunson’s attention, to which Brunson responded, “Hi Joe.”

“I got treated like media!” Joe then exclaimed, per Kris Pursiaien of ClutchPoints on X, formerly Twitter.

However, Joe got more of an acknowledgement from Knicks head coach Mike Brown.

“This is a great day for me. For the first time, I got a chance to meet Ben Stiller. I got my man Fat Joe sitting in the back. This is a great day for Mike Brown!” said Brown, per SNY Knicks on X.

Life has indeed been good for Mike Brown, Fat Joe, Jalen Brunson, and everyone associated with the Knicks in recent weeks. New York hasn’t lost a game since the first round against the Atlanta Hawks, and if they were able to close out the Spurs in a sweep, they’d be in the conversation for the most dominant runs in NBA playoff history.

Of course, New York still has some work to do against a Spurs team that has been nothing if not resilient in these playoffs, having battled back from deficits in both the Western Conference semifinals and finals, although they haven’t faced a hill to climb as steep as this.
