Edu to leave Nottingham Forest just eight months into chaotic tenure
Edu will leave his role as head of global football at Nottingham Forest, talkSPORT understands.
Both parties are finalising the terms of his exit from the City Ground, just eight months after he was appointed.

talkSPORT can confirm that Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis had told Edu to stay away from club premises amid disappointment over his performance.
The former Arsenal chief was expected to work remotely and leave his role at the end of the season, but talkSPORT understands he has already been placed on gardening leave.
Edu, who was also tasked with overseeing Greek club Olympiacos and Portuguese outfit Rio Ave as part of the role, has been involved in a turbulent season at Forest.
The Reds have appointed three different managers following the surprise sacking of Nuno Espirito Santo in September.

Nuno guided the club to European qualification last season before a dramatic falling out with Edu over summer transfers led to his sudden exit just three games into the new season.
Former Wolves boss Vitor Pereira is now in charge, having succeeded Sean Dyche last month.
Dyche himself only joined in October when Ange Postecoglou was sacked after a winless run of eight matches.
Forest fight for survival
Forest are 17th in the Premier League, with a superior goal difference over West Ham keeping them out of the bottom three.
They are also winless in their last five fixtures, although their most recent outing ended in a 2-2 draw at Manchester City.
With nine games left to play this season, Forest face the tough task of cementing their top flight status.

Relegation rivals Tottenham Hotspur and Burnley are two of their upcoming four league opponents.
Chelsea, Newcastle United and Manchester United are also set to be massive tests during the run-in.
Away from the Premier League, Forest will also be competing in the last 16 of the Europa League.
They host FC Midtjylland in the first leg on Thursday night, which will be live on talkSPORT.
Forest will face one of VfB Stuttgart and Porto in the quarter-finals if they win.
And should they reach the semi-finals, they could have an all-Premier League clash against Aston Villa.
