Dodgers’ Max Muncy reveals the changes he would make to MLB All-Star Break
The Los Angeles Dodgers rolls out their MLB All-Star Game lineup Tuesday in Philadelphia. Max Muncy knows this stage well while teammate Justin Wrobleski gains his first taste of the event. Although Muncy started thinking about what changes he would make during this time of year.
Meaning what would he do if the MLB made him in charge of the event.
He dropped a succinct yet blunt take on the biggest change he’d make.
“If there’s any way to make it less exhausting, that’d be what I would change,” Muncy said while on his appearance with The Foul Territory podcast. “I would add an extra day.”

Muncy pulled back the curtain on the schedule conflicts. Some all-stars face the dilemma of traveling to the event before the deadline. Forming chemistry feels rushed too, he adds.
He’d also welcome the idea for the other all-stars to appear and take in the home run derby, which kicks off the MLB’s prestigious weekend.
Th 35-year-old baseman returns to the all-star gala after a brief dry spell. He last appeared in the 2021 season, which saw him pound a career-best 124 hits that year. Muncy smacked 36 home runs too that campaign, which still represents his best mark (he matched it in 2023).
Muncy heads to Philly with 76 season hits in tow, plus smashed 17 home runs this season for LA. He drove in 40 runners home too.
Muncy is joined by familiar faces outside of Wrobleski: Pitcher Yoshinobu Yamamoto (who won’t pitch), outfielder Andy Pages plus manager Dave Roberts.
