Derek Chisora and Deontay Wilder separated during face-off as they tease fight despite Oleksandr Usyk talks
Derek Chisora and Deontay Wilder have sparked fight rumours following a heated face-off this week.
In October, Chisora named Wilder, Dillian Whyte and Jarrell Miller as potential opponents for his 50th and final outing to the ring.

It was then announced that his retirement bout would be against Whyte on December 13, but the deal subsequently collapsed.
Chisora has since hinted negotiations with Whyte could be revived, but an official decision has yet to be made.
‘WAR’ garnered fresh attention on the matter by initiating a face-off with Wilder at the 2025 IBA Men’s Boxing World Championship.
Security were forced to intervene as things turned physical between the pair when Chisora pulled Wilder across the stage.
Chisora uploaded the clip to X with the caption: “Fight 50. Deontay Wilder @IBA_Pro_Boxing #warchisora”
While their face-off holds no real implications of a fight being made, Chisora is confident that they will be sharing the ring.
Although the ‘Bronze Bomber’ recently revealed that he is in talks to fight heavyweight king Oleksandr Usyk.
In a surprising turn of events, both camps have confirmed their interest in a 2026 match-up.
Usyk was anticipated to be pursuing a bout with a top-ranked opponent upon his return from injury, but Wilder seems to have now found himself in contention.
The American returned to winning ways in June when he stopped Tyrrell Herndon in the seventh round of their bout, but undefeated Usyk brings a whole new set of challenges.

Deontay Wilder tells talkSPORT he is in talks with Oleksandr Usyk
Wilder joined talkSPORT from Dubai ahead of Pulev vs Gassiev and confirmed they are in the process of negotiating a deal.
He said on talkSPORT’s White and Jordan: “It is definitely becoming a real conversation.
“Boxing is a business but sometimes it falls through, right now we are in talks for that fight, yes.
“I’m excited and looking forward to it. Once I get the final say-so and details, then my blood will be pumping.
“I am excited [for the potential of that fight happening], and once things become clearer, that is when I can go to camp.”
Wilder and Usyk now appears the most likely combination to share the ring in 2026, given the Ukrainian’s surprise call-out.
