Deontay Wilder rages at Simon Jordan and storms off mid-interview over Tyson Fury question

Deontay Wilder stormed out of the talkBOXING studio after confronting Simon Jordan in a furious and fiery row.

Wilder joined heavyweight rival Derek Chisora in talkSPORT Towers to preview their upcoming clash on April 4 at London’s O2 arena, but total chaos broke out.

It all started when talkBOXING host Jordan quizzed Wilder about his captivating trilogy with Tyson Fury, which saw the pair initially fight to a draw in 2018, before the American suffered two gruelling defeats in 2020 and 2021.

Wilder initially refused to answer any questions about Fury, but when Jordan continued to pry, the 40-year-old snapped and saw red.

The ‘Bronze Bomber’ replied: “No I won’t talk about him, we are not going to talk about him at all.”

Jordan continued to question Wilder about Fury, including his allegations that the ‘Gypsy King’ cheated during their clash.

He continued: “You talked about the water being spiked, the Game of Thrones outfit being too heavy for you.”

Wilder denied the latter and fumed at Jordan shouting: “You can say that, I know the truth, I have the facts.”

The former world champion rose from his chair and stood in front of Jordan, as tensions began to boil over.

As he stepped towards the host, security were on hand to prevent the situation from escalating further.

Wilder then stormed out of the studio, marking the end of the hostilities.
