David Beckham is back on the cards in spellbinding Merlin Premier League collection

With his wand of a right foot, it’s no wonder David Beckham is the chase card in Topps’ Merlin Premier League 2026 collection.

The brand are celebrating 1990s nostalgia in style and have created a stunning set which will send you down memory lane as well as introducing a fantasy-inspired theme built around magic, mythology and football storytelling.

Fanatics and Topps renewed their partnership with the Premier League last year as they continue to innovate with collectibles and memorabilia.

That put Merlin – now owned by Topps – back onto the agenda for fans of the English top-flight.

The first Premier League sticker album in 1994 was a hit, leading to succession of iconic collectors items.

That included the 1996 album, celebrating its 30th anniversary, which held Beckham’s first-ever Premier League sticker.

It’s become the grail for many Manchester United fans and football supporters in general given his incredible career, which included stints at Real Madrid and AC Milan.

Now he’s the owner of Inter Miami and helped take Lionel Messi to the MLS as the legendary Argentine enters the final stages of his career which could end after the 2026 World Cup.

Beckham will now have a rare Merlin’s Magical Ink card in the Merlin Premier League 2026 collection which will be hunted for.

England hero Beckham has an exclusive deal with Fanatics which includes inscribed trading cards, amongst other agreements.

The Merlin set celebrates the current heroes of the game that we already mythologise about, and those who are already in the history books.
