Crystal Palace vs Spurs predictions
Palace had been on a great run of form but have now run into two losses on the bounce.
This comes at a time where they’ve had an array of other games though, including prepping for a quarter-final clash against Arsenal in the EFL Cup on Tuesday night.
Spurs have continued to worry their fans this season with another slump in form and have now slipped back down to a similar position to last year, with only four points picked up in their last seven Premier League games.
Crystal Palace vs Spurs betting tips
Spurs struggle without key players
Spurs did well against Liverpool considering they went down to ten men in the 33rd minute.
But matters made worse when Cristian Romero was also sent off and now have to face Palace without both him and Xavi Simons.
Now Palace can make it tough for Spurs and they did the double over them last year, which can certainly happen again with the way these teams are looking.
Romero misses this one game after a second yellow for a clash with Ibrahima Konate while Simons will receive a three match ban.
They will also be without Dominic Solanke, James Maddison, Dejan Kulusevski, Destiny Udogie and M Takai while Pape Mate Sarr and Yves Bissouma are unavailable due to their Africa Cup of Nations commitments.
This give Palace a big chance to return to full strength squad after a few days off.
They did well to level things with Arsenal late on to force a penalty shoot out.
That should give them a boost regardless of the outcome coming into this to come away with some kind of result.
Palace return to winning form
If Adam Wharton is named in the starting XI in this game, he’ll have made more Premier League starts for Crystal Palace than any other player while aged 21 or younger (47). His 46 to date are currently the joint-most for the Eagles, along with Michael Olise (46).
Jean-Philippe Mateta has scored 23 goals across his last 31 Premier League starts at Selhurst Park, while he scored the game’s only goal in this exact fixture last season: a 1-0 win for Crystal Palace in October 2024.
