  • Manchester City to win Wednesday night’s win at the Bernabeu was City’s fourth win in a row, and head into the weekend with five wins in their last six league games which has seen them to within two points of the top of the Premier League table
  • Phil Foden to score The Man City playmaker heads to Selhurst Park in fine form, scoring five goals in his last three Premier League matches
  • Chris Richards to be carded The Crystal Palace defender will be in for a tough afternoon against the Premier League’s leading goal scorers, having to come against a Man City striker with 34 goals in 26 games for club and country this season
  • Manchester City to take 6+ corners Only two teams have take more corners this season than Manchester City in the Premier League, who are averaging exactly six corners per game

Manchester City make the trip to the capital as favourites for victory at Selhurst Park on Sunday afternoon, fresh from winning at the Santiago Bernabeu against Real Madrid in the Champions League on Wednesday night, their fourth consecutive victory.

Pep Guardiola’s side have won five of their last six Premier League matches ahead of the weekend, a run which has seen them climb from fifth up to second in the table, with last Saturday’s 3-0 win over Sunderland taking them just two points behind leaders Arsenal.

Despite their impressive form, the Cityzens have come unstuck on occasion this season when playing away from home, winning only two of their last six league games on the road, a run which includes defeats in two of their last three.

Crystal Palace will head into this weekend’s crunch Premier League tie having won their last three matches following their 3-0 win over Shelbourne in Dublin in the Conference League on Thursday night.

The win in Ireland was Oliver Glasner’s side third consecutive match away from home and will be looking forward to playing back in front of their home fans on Sunday, with the side now occupying fourth place in the Premier League table following last Sunday’s win at Fulham in a London derby.

The Eagles currently sit one point ahead of fifth-placed Chelsea, four behind Aston Villa and five adrift of their opponents on Sunday, a gap they will be looking to cut with a statement victory this weekend.

The south London side have surprisingly struggled to pick up wins at home this season, winning only three of their last 10 home matches within 90 minutes.

Sunday’s match will be the first time the two sides have met since last season’s FA Cup final, which resulted in a 1-0 win for the south London side and saw the club win their first ever major trophy.

The win also ended a seven match winless run for the Eagles against Manchester City, who haven’t lost at Selhurst Park in more than 10 years, winning eight of their 11 matches in that time since.
