Cowboys sign veteran WR to 1-year deal amid George Pickens standoff

What in the world is going on over there in Dallas? A question many fans ask every offseason regarding constant bad play on the field, tension, and a whirlwind of drama involving players and the front office. The Dallas Cowboys have a long way to go before they become worthy of winning the Super Bowl.

One thing is for certain about the current state of the Dallas Cowboys, as that is that they contain an elite offense led by Dak Prescott, CeeDee Lamb, and George Pickens. Well, that is if Pickens does remain with the team. After reports of him signing his franchise tag at a hefty price, it turns out that Pickens has not signed the dotted line just yet. However … will he?

The Cowboys may not be so sure that he will. In fact, the team has signed veteran wide receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling to a one-year deal as possible insurance that Pickens does not sign. The standoff should not last long, but the Cowboys wanted to make sure they had another veteran in the room by bringing in MVS.
