Chris Pratt and Jon Bon Jovi to follow in The Rock’s footsteps with unique Super Bowl role

Chris Pratt and Jon Bon Jovi are set to bring the star power to Super Bowl LX.

As the New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks get set for kickoff at Levi’s Stadium on Sunday, they will be introduced by two of America’s most recognizable faces.

Rock legend Bon Jovi will welcome his beloved Patriots to the field, while movie star Pratt will have the honor of introducing his Seahawks.

JBJ has long been associated with the New England franchise, and credits his fandom to Bill Belichick and Bill Parcells, even if he did famously try to buy the Buffalo Bills many years ago.

The musician is also said to be close to Patriots owner Robert Kraft, who was recently snubbed by the Hall of Fame.

Pratt, meanwhile, makes no secret of his love for the Seahawks.

The Hollywood icon was born in Minnesota, and his family eventually settled in the Seattle suburbs when he was seven.

Pratt has attended plenty of Seahawks games in the past, and has also been a familiar face at past Super Bowls.

Fans react to Chris Pratt and Jon Bon Jovi Super Bowl roles

He hyped up the team at Lumen Field last month, ahead of their win in the NFC Championship Game against the Los Angeles Rams, and will do so again on an even bigger stage.

It’s fair to say fans are excited about seeing both Bon Jovi and Pratt at Levi’s Stadium before kickoff.

“Jon Bon Jovi and Chris Pratt hype… the Patriots vs Seahawks Super Bowl just got legendary!” one wrote on X, reacting to the news.

“What a combo!” a second said.

“Pats win celebrity intro, Seahawks win the game,” a third predicted.

“We will all be watching for Chris,” a fourth said.

Who has introduced Super Bowl teams in the past?

It’s not yet been revealed how Bon Jovi and Pratt will introduce their teams ahead of Super Bowl LX — but their exciting roles are rather unique and will command pregame attention.

Last year, Jon Hamm and Bradley Cooper handled the introductions for the big game, and got the crowd pumped as the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles players came out of the tunnels.

The best welcome, though, came from none other than Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson back in 2022.

Super Bowl LVI took place at SoFi Stadium in California, and it was WWE icon turned Hollywood megastar Johnson who got the crowd going.

“Finally… the Super Bowl has come back to Los Angeles,” he said, standing on the 50-yard line, before introducing the Rams and Cincinnati Bengals.

While Pratt and Bon Jovi might not be able to work a crowd quite like WWE’s greatest-ever talker, they are sure to bring the type of star power that the Super Bowl demands.
