The Willie Mullins-trained horse is just six-years-old but has made a real impact in Grade 1s over fences, despite placing third in last year’s Arkle Novices’ Chase by just 3/4 of a length.

His form has improved with each run and bit of experience though, most recently at Leopardstown in February when beating Marine Nationale, Found a Fifty and others by 19 lengths.

Reigning champion Marine Nationale is out of the race due to an injury and his main contenders appear not quite to have the same Grade 1 power he’s shown. Will it be Majborough’s day in the sun?
