Cheltenham Festival 2026: Three big odds boosts with Tote including Final Demand at 9/2

The Cheltenham Festival is right around the corner, with a matter of weeks until the ‘best show on turf’ rears it’s head again for 2026.

Bambino Fever strengthened her grip as favourite for the Mares’ Novices Hurdle after a 12-length victory at Fairyhouse in January.

She goes in the Grade 2, 2m 179y jumps course for trainer Willie Mullins who is attempting to score a sixth win in this race, but first since Concertista in 2020.

Wodhooh has won nine of 10 over hurdles and is the in-form French mare going into the Festival.

Lossiemouth has dominated this race over the last two years and goes for a third straight victory. But Wodhooh, is Gordon Elliott’s prolific mare who is heavily backed to claim her biggest career win.

Final Demand is the Brown Advisory favourite after kicking his season off with two big wins over fences. Despite an unconvincing showing at the Dublin Racing Festival, Tote has doubled down and boosted odds from 7/2 to 9/2.

He will still be among the favourites come race day, but may come under threat from stablemate Kaid d’Authie who won the Grade 1 in Dublin.

Dinoblue breezed through her Cheltenham Festival prep to land back-to-back victories in the Opera Hat Mares Chase.

The Mullins trained horse has dominated the mares’ chase division of the last 12 months and is favourite to retain her Mares’ Chase crown in 2026.
