Chelsea fans boo and aim brutal six-word chant at Enzo Maresca after Cole Palmer substitution

Chelsea fans booed and took aim at head coach Enzo Maresca when Cole Palmer was substituted against Bournemouth.

Palmer, who scored the Blues’ first goal against the Cherries, made way for Joao Pedro with 63 minutes played at Stamford Bridge.

The 23-year-old has only recently returned to regular action following a groin injury.

However, some of the Chelsea faithful made their feelings clear when he was substituted whilst the scored read 2-2.

Boos could be heard, while chants of, ‘You don’t know what you’re doing’ were directed at Maresca.

Palmer appeared frustrated to come off during their 2-1 home defeat to Aston Villa on Saturday.

However, it was an opposite response against Bournemouth as he acknowledged Maresca before taking to the bench.

Palmer made just his tenth appearance of the season, with the goal being his fourth in all competitions.

He first struggled with his groin issue before their 5-1 win over West Ham at the beginning of the season.

After feeling discomfort in the warm-up, he was replaced by Estevao Willian in the starting XI.
