Cheat code Alex Pereira stuns fans as he hits scales at heavyweight with fight news imminent
Alex Pereira is walking around at a whopping 242.5lbs ahead of his UFC return.
The light heavyweight champion, who has also incredibly won gold at middleweight, has already expressed his desire to move up to the heavyweight division.

Pereira reclaimed his throne at 205lbs in October by exacting revenge on Magomed Ankalaev, knocking the Russian out in their rematch at UFC 320.
After the win, ‘Poatan’ called out Jon Jones for a super-fight at heavyweight and the pair have since verbally agreed to face one another.
The idea was that Pereira would fight Jones at the promotion’s historic White House card this summer, although UFC CEO Dana White is seemingly not interested in booking it for the celebratory event.
Nonetheless, Pereira is still actively pursuing a heavyweight bout and his antics this week suggest he’s all but ready to go.
Alex Pereira shows off monstrous weight
The 38-year-old uploaded a video to social media this week showing his extraordinary size and has since got the entire MMA world talking.
Responding to his post, one fan wrote: “Bro is never fighting at light heavyweight again.”
Another added: “Coming for the third belt,” while a third simply labelled him a ‘cheat code’.
A fourth commented: “He is 100 per cent fighting [Ciryl] Gane next.”
With UFC heavyweight champion Tom Aspinall currently more worried about ever fighting again than thinking about his return, the expectation is that Pereira could fight for the division’s interim title.
The UFC brass made the same decision when lightweight king Ilia Topuria needed a break from the sport, with Justin Gaethje defeating Paddy Pimblett at UFC 324 earlier this year to become the interim champion at 155lbs.

Aspinall’s first undisputed heavyweight title defence against Gane ended in a no-contest when he was brutally poked in both eyes by the Frenchman.
With Gane sustaining little to no damage himself, he would be the perfect fighter to welcome Pereira to the heavyweight division if Aspinall remains injured.
Nothing has been announced regarding Pereira’s future in the UFC to date.
However, ‘Poatan’ has revealed his next fight is ‘very close’ to being announced.
“We are talking about some things,” Pereira said in a YouTube video with fellow Brazilian UFC fighter Valter Walker.
“My next fight, we’ve already started conversations. It took a little while, but it’s very close to something being announced.”

Walker said the fact that Pereira could even challenge for the heavyweight title makes him the greatest UFC fighter of all time, never mind winning it.
A kickboxer from birth, Pereira took the UFC by storm, winning the middleweight title by knocking out Israel Adesanya in just his fourth fight.
Although the Brazilian lost his title rematch to Adesanya, he then went after the light heavyweight strap, knocking out Jiri Prochazka at UFC 295 to kick-start a dominant reign.
Ankalaev was the first man to defeat Pereira at 1205lbs and probably the last, given Pereira’s next move is likely to come at heavyweight.
