Bayern Munich take strong Harry Kane transfer stance amid Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi comparisons
Bayern Munich are justified in taking a relaxed stance over Harry Kane’s future – no team in Europe suits him better.
The England captain, who is under contract until 2027, does have a £57million release clause that expires at the end of this month.

Tottenham boss Thomas Frank opened the door for Kane to make a return earlier this season, while Barcelona have also been linked.
However, Bayern Munich‘s honorary president, Uli Hoeness, revealed last night that he expects Kane to fulfil his contract until next year.
European football expert, Andy Brassell, has told talkSPORT.com that it shouldn’t come as a surprise that the club are so relaxed.
Harry Kane transfer update
“With Kane at the moment, what Bayern can justifiably think or say is, ‘All right, go and play for a team that suits you better and that plays better football’,” Brassell revealed.
“I don’t think there is one, if we’re talking about a team that really suits Harry Kane at this point in time.”
On Wednesday, Kane ended his own European goal drought to get himself on the scoresheet twice in a 2-0 win over Union Saint-Gilloise.
He is the Champions League’s second top goalscorer, while he is also the first Englishman to reach the 70-goal mark in UEFA competitions.
Brassell added: “We never really talk about Kane as if he’s on the [Lionel] Messi, [Cristiano] Ronaldo and [Kylian] Mbappe, [Erling] Haaland level. But come on, maybe we should.
“Maybe we should, because what he’s able to do to influence the game at every moment is really something.

“Obviously, the club get back a little bit of control if we get past this winter window in terms of his contract.
“If I were them, I’d feel really relaxed about it because he is visibly having such a good time.
“They’re obviously competitive in the Champions League this season, and they will continue to be next season unless something goes horribly wrong as well.
“It’s a position of strength that can only get better from here. And there’s just such a joy about the way he’s playing football at the moment.
“Bayern have had a few reality checks in the transfer market in the last little while, notably Florian Wirtz and Nick Woltemade, because they thought they had both of them.
“But with Kane, I think they’re justified in being relaxed.

“If he does choose to go somewhere else, ‘Well, whatever, it’s been an amazing three years,’ but I struggle to think of a place where he could thrive better.”
Kane won the first senior trophy of his career last term with the Bundesliga title, which Bayern look heavy favourites to retain.
After 18 league matches this season, the 32-year-old has 21 Bundesliga goals to his name as he hunts Robert Lewandowski’s record of 41 in a single campaign.
