With prior interest in pursuing a career in Hollywood, Chelsea Green earlier this year dropped major news about an upcoming film of hers. A few months ago, Deadline reported that Green was set to star in Red Wedding.
The film would also feature Lauren LaVera and Rory Culkin. As per the report, the horror movie had begun production in Birmingham, Alabama. Now, a few months later, in a new interview with Chris Distefano, Green opened up and teased a possible release date for the film.
“I just finished a horror movie and I think it’ll be out around Valentine’s Day. I think it’s going to be a little Valentine’s slasher,” Green shared. When asked if she kills anyone in the film, or gets killed instead, the champion said, “I guess you’ll have to watch to find out.”
Article Continues BelowRed Wedding is being directed by Josh Stolberg. It has been written by Stolberg and Pete Goldfinger. A former writer for the Saw series, Stolberg has an impressive list of credits, including Saw X, Jigsaw, and Spiral.
“The film follows a teenager and her stepmother who are kidnapped and taken to a remote location as part of a ransom plot, soon discovering their captors are the least of their worries when a deadly bride and groom arrive and begin picking them off one by one,” Deadline wrote while describing the film.
Back in Jun. 2026, Green had opened up on social media, where she heaped praise on the Red Wedding project. “This project was incredible. I learned so much, I grew as a new actress and I feel blessed to have been chosen to work alongside Josh, Lauren, Rory and so many other talented humans!!” she wrote.
