A few days ago, WWE legend Ric Flair suffered a terrifying fall in Tampa, Florida, and was sent to a hospital. TMZ reported that Flair injured his face outside a Wagamama after spending time at the restaurant’s bar. According to sources close to TMZ, Flair left his drink and phone behind, crossed the street, and fell.
A few hours later, Flair shared a health update on social media, where he talked about his injury and revealed his eye patch as a result of the fall. “Thank You All For The Messages And Prayers! I Will Get Back To You Each Individually As I Get Stronger. Thank You To All The Tampa General Hospital Staff And Doctors That Put Up With Me Until 4:30am. I Appreciate You All And Thank You For Everything You Did For Me!
“I Am Focused On My Healing And Recovery Right Now. I Will Be Okay! And Just So You Know For Those Who Were Asking And Wondering, I Don’t Own My Own Facebook Page Anymore. I Apologize For The Reckless Posting Behavior On My Facebook When I Was In The Hospital. It Was Completely Inappropriate!” Flair wrote.
Moments after Flair shared his latest health update, the post was filled with well-wishes from Snoop Dogg, his daughter Charlotte Flair, Nikki Bella, and many other celebrities. Later, Flair's daughter and WWE Superstar Charlotte Flair also talked about her father's health. “Not my dad telling the doctor he fell bc of warrior dropping him on his head…(ps: he’s going to be ok),” she wrote.
Ric Flair, 77, is now out of any immediate danger and is back online on social media.
