Wrexham have completed the latest phase of their Racecourse Ground redevelopment project.
The Red Dragons are in the process of building a new 7,750-capacity Kop Stand.
Construction on the stand began in December, with the club hoping it will be completed ahead of the start of next season.
Their plans remain on course after the steelwork for the stand was completed.
Wrexham stadium milestone
Wrexham have announced the 125-tonne inverted ribbon truss has been successfully installed as part of the new stand's construction.
It has been described as 'one of the most technically complexâ engineering operations of the project.
Speaking to the club's media channels, Wrexham CEO Michael Williamson explained: "The successful lift and installation of the steel truss is a landmark moment for the club, not only in the construction of the new Kop Stand itself but also for the wider Gateway Project.
"We are now looking forward to seeing the Kop Stand continue to evolve and take shape over the coming months."
The construction of the new Kop Stand will restore the Racecourse Ground to a four-sided stadium.
It will also take the venue's total capacity over 18,000 and comply with UEFA category four requirements.
Reaching category four status would allow Wales to play home European Championship qualifiers and Nations League matches at the Racecourse Ground.
Wrexham at the Racecourse Ground
The venue was first built in 1807, but has been used for football since Wrexham began playing matches there in 1864.
At present, the Racecourse Ground has a capacity of 10,771 supporters.
However, that figure is set to reach over 18,500 once the new Kop Stand is completed.
The old stand was closed in 2008 due to concerns over fan safety.
It was subsequently demolished in 2023, leaving the ground with just three stands.
As a result, the stadium is the smallest by capacity in the Championship this season.
Wrexham are currently in their second successive season in the second tier.
Following three promotions in a row from the National League to the Championship, the club finished seventh last season.
Phil Parkinson's side currently sit 19th after seven matches this term following a 6-0 defeat to West Ham United last weekend.
