The Kansas City Chiefs put on a dominant performance in Week 1 against the Denver Broncos, and it was the offense that led the way. Outside of Patrick Mahomes looking like he hasn't missed a beat, Kenneth Walker III proved why he was one of the best free-agent additions this offseason, finishing the game with 173 yards and a touchdown.

Everyone knows what Walker is capable of after his time with the Seattle Seahawks last season, but when he's on your team, it's a blessing. That's how Xavier Worthy feels, and Walker is giving him memories of when he used to play with Bijan Robinson.

“I played in college with Bijan. This feels like blocking for Bijan right now. You don't block, you dont get the rock. Rashee said that best. I feel like that's a thing in our receiver room that we kinda took to heart, and we wanna be great at it,” Worthy said.

If Walker is going to tote the ball like that every week, the receivers are going to be doing a lot of blocking this season. At the same time, that's going to open up the pass game, and players like Worthy are going to have a lot of opportunities.

The Chiefs' offense wasn't great last season, but with Walker in the fold, he changes a lot about what they can do. This team could bounce back in a big way this season if both sides of the ball play as they did in Week 1, and many will want to see if they can keep it up against the Indianapolis Colts this week.
