The Atlanta Dream enter Game 6 of the WNBA Finals against the Golden State Valkyries with the series delicately poised at 3-2 against them. After losing Game 5 64-55 despite Rhyne Howard’s top-scoring with 20 points, Atlanta now faces elimination at State Farm Arena, where a victory would force a decisive Game 7 in San Francisco on Saturday.
And well, Angel Reese appears extremely confident that her team will mount a comeback in Game 6, per ESPN's Alexa Philippou.
“We have no doubt,” she said. “I have no doubt that this team will come back and fight back and win this Game 6 and then move on from it.”
Reese revealed that she and her teammates have had a number of “uncomfortable conversations” to discuss what they can do better individually and collectively,” claiming that “everybody's in a great mind space right now.”
About her own individual expectations, Reese claimed that she intends to leave it all on the court.
“Just having a mindset of leaving it all out there,” she said. “You're going to have to peel me off the court. I want to be so damn tired. I want to just be able to give everything.”
The Dream initially controlled the series after narrowly losing Game 1 before winning Games 2 and 3 by a combined 40 points. Reese and co. had arrived to the series off the back of a ten-game winning streak, and will now need their franchise star to be at their best. Meanwhile, the Valkyries’ position is clear. A victory would secure the franchise's first WNBA championship after two consecutive wins reversed the direction of the series.

However, unlike the previous game, they will also have the home support to count on, and will be determined to make the most of it.
