Chicago White Sox veteran Tommy Pham is never afraid to speak his mind. While the White Sox are focused on winning the American League Division Series against the Cleveland Guardians, Tommy Pham took issue with a report from reporter Jeff Agrest of the Chicago Sun-Times.
Agrest reported an exchange between MLB commissioner Rob Manfred and Pham in an article. Pham believes proper context was not added to the report, however. Talkin' Baseball shared the part of Agrest's report that caught Pham's attention.
“What's going on with the balls? How am I supposed to get a job next year if that ball don't go out,” Pham reportedly told Manfred in reference to a fly ball he hit in Game 1 of the ALDS that was caught by Guardians outfielder Angel Martinez at the warning track.
After seeing the report, Pham took to X, formerly Twitter, to call Agrest out.

It remains to be seen if Agrest will respond to Pham's post. The White Sox are certainly hopeful the situation won't be a distraction amid their pursuit of reaching the World Series. Chicago currently holds a 2-0 lead in the ALDS over Cleveland.
Game 3 of the series is scheduled for Wednesday afternoon at 4 PM ET in Chicago.
