The Chicago White Sox are 1-0 over the Cleveland Guardians in the ALDS after earning a 3-0 win on Saturday. It was a solid outing for the club, as the offense and pitching were on point throughout. Reliever Grant Taylor proved to be a difference-maker once he took the mound and ended up achieving a playoff feat not seen since 2017.

Taylor earned a save after pitching four full innings. The last time anyone did that was 19 years ago, when Lance McCullers did it for the Houston Astros in Game 7 of the ALCS, according to Sarah Langly of MLB.com. Langly shared each relief pitcher who earned a save after throwing in four or more innings in the postseason.
